Perhaps one of the most well-known amphibians is the poison dart frog. The term poison dart frog refers to a colorful and sometimes deadly variety of species that call the rainforests of Central and South America home.

Iquitos is named after the Peruvian city that is often referred to as Perus gateway to the Amazon, and it is one of the areas where these beautiful specimens can be found. He features the bright metallic orange, yellow, blue, and black colors, as well as the patterning of the Ranitomeya amazonica poison dart frog, which serve as a warning to potential predators that eating him can be deadly! His vibrant, frog-like appearance is heightened by a high-gloss finish and his leaping pose. Iquitos features Wild Animal Series Limited Edition on his belly in silver.

How to Buy and Conditions of Sale

• Price: Iquitos (#B-CS-10437) is a limited edition of 750 pieces and is offered for purchase by random drawing for $200.00, domestic shipping included (limit one model per purchase per name drawn).
• Entries will be taken via the Breyer Website Entry Form on www..com from 4:00pm EDT, 9/03/2025 until 11:59pm EDT on 9/07/2025.
• One entry will be accepted per person only. Entering more than one time will not increase your odds of being chosen. Duplicate emails or emails received outside the entry request window will be rejected.
• By or around 5:00pm EDT 9/08/2025, seven hundred fifty (750) entries plus a stand-by list will be randomly drawn (but not posted). Please do not call to see if you have been selected. We will contact those individuals who have been selected by email within 24 hours with instructions on how to complete their purchase.
• Shipping & handling is included for ground shipment service levels for domestic shipments. If an expedited shipping method is selected, the appropriate shipping fees will be charged. Individuals with an international ship to address must choose international shipping. Individuals with a Canadian ship to address must choose Canada shipping.
• Individuals selected and contacted who are not available and/or have not completed their purchase and supplied valid shipping information by 11:59pm EDT on 9/11/2025 will forfeit the opportunity to purchase the model and are automatically disqualified and the next individual on the stand-by list will be contacted. No exceptions.
• Any remaining Iquitos models that have not been paid for in full by the deadline(s) specified in the email notification(s) may be offered to Collector Club members for purchase. If they have not been purchased after such offer, remaining models may be offered to sale to all on .com.
• Models are expected to start shipping on or around 9/10/2025.
• Purchases must be completed online at .com only. No other method of purchase is allowed.
• Breyer retailers and employees of Breyer retailers are not permitted to purchase Web Specials. Entries by Breyer retailers and employees of Breyer retailers will not be accepted.
